This card is based on this week's Mojo Monday (#429) sketch.
To make the background I first sprayed some Tim Holtz inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge) onto a craft sheet and then plopped my paper into the inks. After it was dry I stamped my stamp (Forrest Floor 2) with Wild Honey. The leaves were cut out using a Tim Holtz die and the tiny pinecones are also from Tim Holtz -- his tiny tattered rose. A piece of burlap, some ribbon and a gold bow completed the card.
Stamps: Designs by Ryn (Forrest Floor 2), Stampin Up! (Voila)
Beautifulcard, Heidi, lovely colors, makes me think of a cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteLike the warm colours in this and how you matched the background stamping with the die cut leaves. Many thanks for sharing :)
