Splattered Ombre Roses

This card uses the Splattered Ombre Watercolours technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies.  I used Real Red reinker and Real Red paper.  The main stamp is called Roses and it's made by Technique Junkies Stamps but I did notice they had another stamp called Roses.  This one is #S183.

Baja splattered postage

The postage stamp is another Splattered Ombre Watercolours technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies.  I used Baja Breeze reinker again.  The stamp has some embossing paste on it for the bubbles.

Another Splattered Ombre Watercolours technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies!  This time I used Baja Breeze reinker and didn't quite coat all the space. 

The layout was copied from last weeks Viva la Verve August 2014 Week 5 sketch.

I love this technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies!   This time I used re-inkers (Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie) and didn't colour the whole piece of paper.

Splattered Ombre Fish

The "Splattered Ombre Watercolours" technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies.  I used twinkling watercolours (Mediterranean) for the background and stamped the fish and sentiment with Island Indigo.

Rusty Splattered Gecko

Here's another example of the "Splattered Ombre Watercolours" technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies.  This time I used a watercolour crayon from Stampin Up! (Really Rust).

This card uses the "Sponged Ombre Watercolours" technique from the June/July issue of Technique Junkies but instead of watercolours I used Pacific Point reinker.

Splattered and Dusty Gecko

I used the "Splattered Ombre Watercolours" technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies but used Dusty Concord distress stain instead of watercolours.  The Gecko was stamped in Dusty Concord also.  The sentiment was embossed in white so you can easily read it.  Not many embellishments because I really like how this technique looks alone.

Splattered Seahorse

Another "Splatttered Ombre Watercolours" technique from the June/July 2014 Technique Junkies.

I used "Peacock Feathers" Distress stain instead of watercolours and stamped both the seahorse and seaweed in "Burmuda Bay" ink.  I lightly sponged the edges with "Burmuda Bay" and mounted on white and then "Burmuda Bay" cardstock.

Hot Pink Gecko

I tried the "Splattered Ombre" technique from the June/July 2014 issue of Technique Junkies but I used "Picked Raspberry" Distress Stain instead of paint because I wanted the result to be very bright (which it is!)  I wanted to shake up my little gecko a bit -- he's too used to browns and greens.
